Design

This piece is handwoven using natural shades of Falkland Islands grey, Raw Wool Company black with Isle of Man rare breed Loaghtan in a twill pattern.

Care

Air frequently, wash infrequently.  Full instructions regarding care is provided.

Provenience

The Falkland Islands wool I use is supplied by Wooltops (www.wooltops.co.uk). I also use Alpaca from www.ukalpaca.com.

All Falklands wool comes to the UK via ship.

I hand-dye when I need colour using non-toxic dyes.

Postage

Great Britain and Crown dependency postage is included in the price. I subsidise overseas postage.

Due to GPRS rules, I am unable to send to the EU or Northern Ireland, but will do so when it’s financially viable for me.

Presentation

Each creation is gift-wrapped in tissue paper with a care card and a sprig of Lavender (excludes Australia & New Zealand due to customs regulations) before being boxed.

Fibre options

The Falklands wool and Raw Wool Company wools are genuinely soft next to the skin.  The Loaghtan isn’t as soft, but isn’t scratchy next to the skin.

Handwoven from:

Medium weight (double-knit) wool. Breathable warmth from quality wool, the most popular choice.
