Design

A Blanket for a child, especially purchased for a christening or a birth is a very personal thing. Feel free to choose from the designs, or select bespoke and I’ll be in touch to discuss a unique design for no extra charge.

Care

Air frequently, wash infrequently.  Full instructions regarding care is provided.

Provinence

The Falkland Islands wool I use is supplied by Wooltops (www.wooltops.co.uk). I also use Alpaca from www.ukalpaca.com

All Falklands wool comes to the UK via ship.

I hand-dye when I need colour using non-toxic dyes.

Postage

Great Britain and Crown dependency postage is included in the price. I subsidise overseas postage.

Due to GPRS rules, I am unable to send to the EU or Northern Ireland, but will do so when it’s financially viable for me.

Presentation

Each creation is gift-wrapped in tissue paper with a care card and a sprig of Lavender (excludes Australia & New Zealand due to customs regulations) before being placed in a white keepsake box. A gift note can be included for no extra charge.

Fibre options

All wools are genuinely soft next to the skin.

Choose from:

Medium weight (double-knit) wool or alpaca. Breathable warmth from quality wool, the most popular choice.

Lightweight (4-ply) wool.

Changes in colours & some designs carry no extra charge, but I don’t do hard sell, so feel free to ask.Whilst you can choose from the colours here, having your own design and colours cost no extra, so select bespoke, and I will email you to discuss.
